- 2007 Oct 28 (Sun) - Book Celebration – First Mennonite Church Calgary
The Mennonite Historical Society of Alberta (MHSA) will be celebrating the publication of the book by Irene Klassen, entitled: Their Mark: Their Legacy. It is a collection of over 50 biographical essays on Alberta Mennonite leaders from assorted walks of life. Come join MHSA and First Mennonite Church members to hear Irene read a few passages, sign a copy and celebrate its publication. There will be some refreshments on hand but no fee. There will be an opportunity to purchase an MHSA membership, Mennonite books, or make a donation to the MHSA.

- 2007 Oct 20 (Sat) - 9:00 am Fall Gathering of MHSA Members and Friends – Linden, Alberta
The MHSA invites you to its annual fall gathering. From 9 am - noon, we will hear about the history of the Church of God in Christ Mennonite (Holdeman) and the Mennonite Brethren Church in the Linden area.
Following lunch, participants may either join the Linden quilters or a group doing some local touring. For more information, or to register for this gathering, please contact Colin Neufeldt (780-433-2127), Lloyd Ratzlaff (403-546-3788) or Henry Goertzen (403-335-8414). There will be a small fee for lunch and an opportunity to purchase an MHSA membership, Mennonite books, or make a donation to the MHSA.
This event in being held in conjunction with the Mysteries of Grace and Judgment event which is scheduled for that evening.
