Bus Trip to Viking Hutterite Colonies
This trip will include visits to two colonies in the Viking area. Presentations
will be given both on the bus and at the colonies on the history of
the Hutterites, as well as their use of technology. The Iron Creek Colony
has installed a biodigester, which converts hog manure into electricity.
The bus will depart from Edmonton First Mennonite Church, 3650 - 91
Street, at 8:30 a.m., returning about 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $40/person (includes lunch).
